Stone Laying 2026, Bussum
On April 15, 2026, the stone laying ceremony took place for the Sigmund family at Hooftlaan 13 in Bussum. The family lived here until they were arrested in 1942. The ceremony was organized by the Gooise Meren Stumbling Stones Foundation.

Group 8 pupils from two primary schools in Bussum who attended the ceremony each laid their own stone at the memorial stones. Many stones had previously been colored or inscribed with a personal message in class.
