Stumbling Stone Laying 2013, Worms
From 1927, the family lived above the Landauer store at Neumarkt 6-10 in Worms, where Ernst became manager and later director. Lotte and Kurt were born during the time they lived there. After Kurt's birth in 1933, they fled to Amsterdam.
The Landauer stores from that era no longer exist. A large part of the city center was destroyed by bombing in 1945.
The foundation stone was laid at Neumarkt 10 in 2013.
Stolpersteiner for the Sigmund family
Four Stolpersteine have been placed in front of the building where the Landauer shop used to stand.
